i found the mod folder and threw the mod in but is isn;t showing up any help?
Make sure the folder structure is correct. Inside the \Mods folder you need to have a folder for your mod, this is what will show up in-game. Inside the mod-name folder you need to have GameInfo, String, etc.. whatever the mod needs.
All mod downloads are archives (.rar, zip, 7zip, etc) and need to be extracted into the \Mods path, and the folders will (usually) take care of themselves.
ok so in the mods folder i need another folder in it. also its a rar and came with nothing else so is that all it needs?
No, you'll need to use WinRar or equivalent to extract the archive into the ....\Mods folder 
so all the files are in the rar then im good hopefully thx for ur help
for some reason i dont have a mod folder but i have mods i wana use and i have no idea were to put them
u have to go to users then follow the mod paths and use the rar extractor to use them
You also need to update your game, if you're running 1.0 there is no mod support and no Mods folder in the mod path
