[Suggestion] One tweak for Targeting Uplink for Akkan.

Instead of increase of accuracy, can we have increase of damage instead? (Maybe not in current number, instead 4% 8% 12%)

Other than increasing the range, it is close to useless and currently Akkan is only worth for let your whole fleet escapes easily (level 6), colonizing and countering channel abilities.

So you think it's good for 3 out of 4 abilities?  Sounds pretty good to me.

And Targeting Uplink is passive anyway, meaning no antimatter is being used for it.  Why not use it?

I think insead of changing the ability make percent to hit matter more

then again go fight in an astreroid field that 20% can suck big time with a starbase there now - go try it - pretty cool

I'd like to agree somewhat with Exterm123. Targeting Uplink is not bad as it is, especially since it uses no antimatter.

But yeah, seems like it could do *more*. Anyhow, consider that increased accuracy does mean more damage, because more rounds find their target.

Though other than asteroid fields, ships have 100% accuracy against other ships by default.

Still, a 4/8/12% damage increase for the entire fleet from one passive ability is insanely unbalanced. :P Because Uplink is a passive, it is fine as is.

maybe it should be by size then - the bigger the target the easier to hit

starbase = 100%

capital ship = 95%

cruisers = 90%

frigs = 85%

and structures = 100%

Well it is alot but it's a tec fleet they ahve the lowest damage of all ships. So other races will still out damage.

But the best way to make it usefull would be indeed to cut dont accurary on all weapons on all races.

They also have the most ships by count.

Well the most ships is not offten the case. They also ahve the weakest defenses, and weakest support ships. Their so week in many aspects that they absolutly need support ships like the hoshiko. So they end up with fewer combat ships then advent and vasari who are so powerfull compared to tec that they don'T even bother building support ships most of the time even theirs are better then tecs.

So look at it this way is it normal that one race would absolutly need to invest time and resorces into support ships while other races do not have to.

So a damage increase intead of accuracy or a neft to the accuracy of everythign in the game would be needed, short of overhauling all the races to make it so that advent and vasary also need support ships in order to survive.

In theory, yes. In reality, no.

I am pretty sure reality is the one affects our life first, not theory.

I hardly remember my ships had ever outnumbered enemy's when I was playing TEC.

And I am not sure whether it is really overpowered to buff damage 4,8,12%.... I mean there are much more wicked abilites (many of Advents and some of Vasaris) which make any of TEC abilities (including Mazda's Missile Barrage) utter joke.

Edit : EadTaes said nicely about the issues as well.

Come on, I am fighting against an army that NEVER dies. Us TEC need some serious firepower to survive.
