How do I revert to original Sins?

I can't seem to choose to join a non-entrenchment game now.

Is it possible to join a regular non-entrenchment game once you have installed the expansion?  I have tried starting regular sins from impulse,  but it just starts the game in expansion mode.

The beta version of Entrenchment overwrites the vanilla Sins files.  The only way at present to run both of them is uninstall, install Sins, copy it to a new directory, and then install Entrenchment.

My understanding is that it won't be like that at launch, though.

Hmm that kind of sucks,  especially because this is a beta...  I don't know why Ironclad wouldn't have used a separate directory to install the expansion so that you could play either version of the game.

If it isn't separated at launch, they should expect some mighty disgruntled customers.  Especially seeing as you aren't able to join regular sins games once you have the expansion installed (at least with the beta you can't at the moment).

If you do the above method say good bye to multiplayer, even on LAN

You do realize that at release it's supposed to be that if you have entrenchment and you join a game that doesn't have entrenchment, it just plays the game without the entrenchment content. Don't worry it will work at release.
