forget the update, i'm waiting for the whole expansion to be completed. (umm... can we have the recordings fixed?)

oh, grant those poor devs at least the resemblence of a bit of holiday. they are after all also human, even some unwavering zealots might think otherwise.

with how bad they they have messed evrything up with the  last update (negative recorces, starbases that wont upgrade) they lost there right to right to a holiday 

I'm glad I get to be part of this beta, if only to appreciate the final release that much more.

Now that all this Holiday junk is done and over, I'd expect things to get rollin rollin rollin...

im actualy more interested in some more unit balance from 1.12 then i am waiting for entrenchment's release...... beta sucked so far,   there's to much problems to write down

and even if i did write em down the topic would prolly get closed for me being negative >.>

I am interested when or if will be "beta 2". If there is just finished version, then the developers have stfu on us, i think.

There is just too meny thoughts on entrenchment to call it finished by simply changing name from "beta 2" to "final release"

From past experiance with their beta process. The devs tend to take as long as it needs. Also from past experiance their will probably be an update soon as they get it together. If you read the intro into the game they state as much.

The thing is, its kinda hard to tell what were gonna do with what is released. Which is why its hard to see all the game change implications. Personaly, I can't wait on the next patch. The starbases are only broken in mp and only when you play on ICO. If I do a direct connect to with friends it all works much better. Or at least you can upgrade your SB's. Could be a side effect of alloy.

What changes does 1.12 still need?  Basic frigates need to scale better, carriers need a speed reduction, and cap ships needs to either scale better with levels or simply be reduced in cost.  Other than that, it's time to move on and start adding new things to the game.  Making defence worthwhile is a perfectly good place to start adding content.  Also, it's an initial beta release.  I just laugh at all the people crying over the balance of something that isn't supposed to be balanced.  It says so on the friggin' loading screen.  Not only is Entrenchment in beta, it's part 1 of 3 of the full expansion!  There are two more releases worth of changes coming.  If Entrenchment slows the game too much as people fear, Ironclad can easily release something in part 2 or 3 to help break turtles and speed up the game.

I wish there was LOTS of MODES (!!!!!!!!) in Options window, like in "Galactic Civilizations II".

True enough. But I don't expect you'll ever get a better response.
