I would first like to say, I was not sure of the proper place to post so I made many. Im sorry ahead of time Moderators and such. If you would be so kind as to place this in the proper spot if not place.

 

I hear by, would like to welcome anyone and everyone to the first ever -Ue_ (Unified Explorers Corporation) Tourny.

 

Here are the current rules and set up:

- All players must send in In game name you plan to use during this tourny. The race you plan to play will also be needed. And also state the divisions you plan to enter. (see the different divsions below.)

-The tourny will take place in SINS 1.12.

-The competition will be played it 3 different divisions. RandomTeam3vs3(Your team mates are chosen at random), 1v1, and Organized2vs2(You choose your team mate).

-Current map rotation for each division is as followed:

 1vs1: Derelict, Face Off, Quickstrike

 2vs2: Doppleganger, Counter Spin, Temptest

3vs3: Gateway, Razor's Edge, Foreign Invasion

-All competitors for each divison will be placed in a Round Robin. All competitors will be placed inside their bracket by random.

-There will be no set time for game play. You will have a deadline TBA according to size of divison and bracket. All players must contact their opposition to set specific game time.

-The winner will be required to submit a replay of the match. I will watch every game to vaidate the winner.

-The rules are subject to change according to unknown problems that might arise. Please stay tune for updates.

 

  Current Line-up:

1vs1: Ekkotek(Advent),ToroRosso1(TEC),Rain(Varsari)

2vs2: Loganx(TEC)/Ornar Daal(Vasari), [LDP] Shane1022(Advent)/[LDP] Worldawg(??)

3vs3: US Navy(Advent), CarlitX(TEC), meyst(TEC), Ekkotek(Varsari), Crusader_Antonius (Varsari), Duke Greg(Varsari),ToroRosso1(TEC), Rain(Varsari)

 

NOTE: Sign Ups are closed. Also the rules have been changed. This is now a Round Robin style Tourny, to compensate for the odd number of sign ups.

 I WILL BE MAKING A POST, SHOWING THE CURRENT GAMES. IT IS YOUR JOB AND YOUR JOB ALONE TO GET TOGETHER WITH YOUR TEAM/PARTERS FOR A SPECIFIC GAME TIME!!!!! IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO MEET THE DEADLINE, LET ME KNOW. THIS IS MENT TO BE FLEXIABLE.

Hi - lol - has no one signed up yet for this? Thanks for making the effort to try to organize this tournament - things like this could do a lot to rejuvenate SINS online multiplayer. I'm interested in joining up - in game name is same as my forum name and I plan to play as Advent. Are those the only details you need so far? I'm in Vancouver, BC and so on PST. Hopefully we'll get some more involved!

Hi.....I would be interested in playing....my name would be REDHOT....and i would play in mountain time (live in calgary canada). I will play as advent. I will play as either teams or singles...depending whats available at the time of the tournament

u need dates and time for the tournament ontop of that u need to specify the time zone that ur working with too so ppl can check and adjust their times to simulate urs for those games atleast

Maybe I need to reclarify this.

 

How this will work is after sign up. I will post the brackets. That way all know who they are playing. It will be YOUR responsiblity to contact your opposition for the EXACT time you will play together. That way ppl can make time on their own schedules. The only thing in the way of a deadline for matches will be post my me. For example: Sign up ends the 17th. and I post the brackets by the 19th. So I will give all first round matches for each bracket time to be played like a week. So you will have in the given time to contact and set up a match time. If that still doesnt make sense, PM me. I will try my hardest to clarify it futher.

I decided to not make 3vs3 where you can pick team just to make it different. If you would like to pick your team mate go 2vs2.

Gotta try at least. This is the first one. So its not gonna be perfect. Live and learn. Besides there can always be some kind of excuse for it not work. I planned some flexibitly into this. So we will see. =)

I know this won't happen but can there be a bracket for people with entrenchment? i really want to get involved with this but its for 1.12...  I'll try to get another version running i guess then but if you make an entrenchment bracket a lot more people will join

Entrenchment is still in beta and not balanced yet. Thats why its 1.12.

You know Im really dissappointed in the lack of intrest.:annoyed:   With all the post about the lack of organized play online I assumed people would jump on this like a fish out of water. ;P   Thats what I get for assuming.

 

Oh, as I posted in one of the topics in the SINS clan subtopic area. With the talk of the few clans on SINS bashing each other on the forums, Im shocked they have yet to step up and participate. Since after all they are the ones who want some kind of ladder/clan based competitive play.

Ok, off my milkbox. :moo:

As for yall who have sign up so far, THANK YOU!!! If you got friends out there tell them to get sign up!!! The more the merrier!!!!!

Due to lack of interest, the 3FFA and 5FFA will be closed!!!! If you sign up for those divisions you should of got a PM from me. Also there is a strong chance that the 2vs2 will be closed. I will keep it up till the 17th. If there is not enough sign up, I will close it also.

Isnt replys broken to a certain degree. Meaning it will crash before it finishes or is desynced.
