New Pixarra Twistedbrush Open Studio "Free"

"January 02, 2009 -- Pixarra today introduced TwistedBrush Open Studio, a free
digital paint and photo editing Windows software package built from the powerful
and easy to use TwistedBrush Pro Studio platform. TwistedBrush Open Studio is
released as free software that will not expire and is not crippled. Based off of
TwistedBrush Pro Studio, most all the features of the Pro Studio version are
included in Open Studio with the exception of features that allow for
modification of brushes. Some of the features included are layers, masks, tablet
support, scanner support, over 100 filters, Lua scripting support, a full range
im image formats are supported, drawing guides, image warping tools, text
support, gradients, tracing paper, reference images, recording to video files
and many other standard image editing features. "

 

 This is a fun drawing and painting program!!!   Just thought someone here might want a new toy!!!

Ok!!!  I really hope you have a lot of fun.  I learned drawing and painting on the pc with a smaller version of that one, probably about 8 or so years ago. Even though I have photoshop6, I still enjoy twistedbrush. I can never have enough pencils, pens and drawing paper...the same goes for graphics programs!!!

Awesome teddy

Okidoki, this pic of my cat Bop, took about a minute, just messing around, but it's an awesome effect, for those who want to see what it can do, remember this was a quick go at it

I LOVE IT TEDDY!

Even my garbage bin in the background looks cool LOL

Thanks TC.  I downloaded it and will install tomorrow and look it over.  Not like I'd know what I'm looking at.  They haven't made one simple enough for me yet.  Maybe I should have been drawing all of those psycodelic colors in the 60's insteaad of experiencing them.

Angus and I were the original flower-children...   Well, not really, but we probably could have been...   I was in Haight-Ashbury and at Berkely in '67.  Odd times in the land of fruits, nuts, and MickeyMouse for a flat-land mid-western farmboy to say the least..

Wow...looks pretty cool! And some of the uploads look awesome!

And here's my mint condition ticket from the 60's...never had to use it since the fences all came down...and had it appraised at $600.00 a few years back till some joker found a whole box of uncirculated tickets and it brought it down to about $100.00.

  Was it something you ate?       No seriously, each time I use the link it goes to the right page, so I don't know....

Oh happy day! I have more graphics programs now than you can shake a stick at, but am a glutton for more. I will definately be trying this out in my "spare time" ( and when the heck is that?) Thanks for the heads up Teddy!

I bought Corel draw over three years ago and still haven't gotten it installed!

teddy, just used Pixarra to make a widget, well here's the background anyway, it's really easy flowing to draw, better than photoshop

 

No, fear not, it's not a clock hehe

I've been making loads of Saw [movie] related stuff actually, got this pretty wicked evil looking clock, that has that Saw dolls evil laugh blinking eye's, it's kinda creepy
