How do you get around mines in entrenchment? There must be some way to get rid of them because if there isn't then all one need do is put in a few orbital guns and a crap load of mines and a planet becomes untouchable.
You need to have a scout in your fleet as they're the only objects that I think can view mines.
What I do is put the scounts ahead of my fleet and then let my collective group knock down the mines when the scout reveals mines. It does takes sometime, but i gets the job done. I hope they're thinking about putting a mine sweeping fuction in for one of the vessels to speed up the process. As it does take some time to do it this way.
I'm guessing they will at least extend the range a scout sees mines greatly too. And don't worry Leman, there seems to be some bugs in mines that make them "undestroyable" sometimes, it will get ironed out at the Beta goes along I'm sure.
is there a bug where mines dont explode when enemy ships pass them one of fleet flew through about 50 mines and they didnt explode yet when the enemy went through my mines they did so i take that must be a bug
