Problem During Installation Turns Into Problem for Game

Crashing!

Okay, I recently purchased this awesome game after playing the Demo a bajillion times lol. But during the installation, 3/4 done, it keep saying all these files could not be read and I decided to keep clicking ignore (as there was ALOT of these) and now, when I try to do a skirmish, maybe a few minutes into the game, the game crashes and closes... Does anyone know why and what could have caused so many files not to be able to be read and if there's a solution for it?! Thanks alot for future posts

Oh and this tibit of information might help: When I tried to do Basic Installation, a small box would say "ERROR." and the installation would cancel so I would have to do an Advanced Install, making a seperate folder.

Bad/scratched disc.  It happens.  Even new out of the box, although it's more likely new (used) out of the box.

Alternatively, bad CD/DVD drive.  Also happens.

Download Impulse, register your serial in it, and install the game from there, would be my suggestion.

So should I uninstall the game and just redownload then?

Affirmative.

Unless anyone's got a better suggestion, anyway.

I was correct in my initial assumption that you installed from CD, yes?

I don't recall seeing any error like that when installing from Impulse, and to be honest I'm not sure it's possible.

It happened again, but this time during the install the pop up came two or three times and there's no more crashing. Thanks alot for the idea!
