[Idea] Wreckage and Scavengers

Right so I've been comparing Sins to some of my older Space RTS's and I've come up with this.

 

Why not (like Haegemonia) have Capital ships and starbases leave wreckage and there would be random fields of it. This wreckage can then be harvested by a scavenger you build which you can direct or autonomously build.

This would mean we get cooler looking wreckage and fields after a large battle but also a new source of income and a way to keep the battlefield clean

They already leave wreckage.  The Vasari have a tech that automatically collects it(only cap ships can collect, I think).

The Vasari starbase can also suck up all the wreckage to repair itself.

Really? Ok what I meant is the starbases would stay intact mostly and look kinda cool. I hardly notice any wreckage so I'm not talking about those tiny little black things the size of a fighter. I'm saying the wreckage would be recognisable as what it previously was before destruction.

Graphically, which is what makes it so awesome. You know that empty space between the two halves? It starts glowing green and all the debris from around the grav well gets sucked into it :)

One time the ability duration ran out before it ate all the debris, so there was a bunch of it still floating around the station :P
