Try yourself.... It does not reduce antimatter cost by 300%.
it seems to be working oddly but then again im not in the know on how it reduces the antimatter. Are you sure the ships you needed to target were inside its ability radius before you used the ability.
Wait, does flux field have limitation on number of ships effected? (OMG even moar crappy Dunov for us!)
It should reduces antimatter cost by 300% in radius of 3000ish.
And yes, my Kol was in radius before activating the field, and still required same AM amount.
The infocard is unlikely to change the listed amount, did you look at that or the amount of AM it actually ate when the ability was used? It does not have a target limit, but it doesn't work on ultimate abilities.
It also reapplies every 2 seconds so ships that enter the range pick it up.
Yes, I looked up the buff and ability files and found out it does not work on ultimate abilities.
Wow, why do we even bother to have TEC cap ships other than Kol and Mazda?

So was the problem only that it wasn't working with level 6 abilities and thought that was a problem? I didn't really get to play 1.12 since I am in entrenchment so never really knew to look.
Wow, I just played a TEC game and I wondered about that but didn't test it... I pact my fleet with Dunov's too, because they are the only ones who can heal. I was curious, if I had four Dunov's and I activated Flux Field on all of them, would the effects be cumulative. But there were no effects.
If you played singleplayer, you can load auto-saved games and try yourself.
Wait in in 1.05 (not sure about 1.1 havent doen it yet) you could literally spam finest hour using the donuvs flux filed now you suddenly can't in entrenchemnt. Does flux field not work with cap ship abilities?
I've noticed this as well. If it doesn't work with cap ships anymore, there doesn't seem to be any point to the ability.
