Annoying Online

Hi, I played my first online match earlier, I was chatting to this person then i started winning etc... It looks like he just left the game. I went round for ages taking all his planets etc.. So if players leave is that it ? I had to quite myself in the end. How do you win when someone does that ? I looked at the stats and it still said played = 0 won =0 lost=0. I was looking forward to playing online but does this happen often

Yeah soemtimes the stats system is a bit funky. I ocasionaly got wins when I quited a game, sometime I won but didnt get the win. I'm prety sure it's a knowed issue and is probably cause by alloy sicne i started noticing it about at the same time.

do people just quit often on the online games ? because i must have played for about 2 hours only for him to quit when it was getting interesting...this ruins the fun for me if thats the case

It happens when your playing strangers, i would like to think that it doesnt happen often but it seems to be a common complaint apparently. You also have to remember, the game crashes on some players some times causing their game to shut down and dropping out of the game as a result. (I recall the mini-dump error) Personally i play with a group of friends and other players that dont quit out on each other when get a slight hint that they might lose.
