Hello,

I cannot use my custom made avatars in game. Before Enchantement pack I just dropped my files and override SoaSE vanilla portraits in texture folder but now doing same just isnt working. Some small pictures do get overriden and I can see them in game but large ones like for example in "Player Setup" do not show up anymore. I know its Beta but I hope it wont be the case when its full version. Thank you.

 

PS. There is nothing wrong with my portrait files incase someone wonders, I uninstalled Enchantement and they work in normal SoaSE.

You need to delete the following file from your stardock games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Textures folder to reanable custom portraits:  Player_Portrait_Large.dds

(remember to back it up first though)

 

I did this a while back and the game still runs/plays the same for me. (except it once again allows custom portraits obviously)
