crash dump from haties.

just checking here, anyone else running mods and just ctd with the crashdump file a lot lately? I cant run one single mod from here anymore without 10 min into the game i crash. It doesnt matter what i run, even if its a simple mod of my own, CTD every darn time.

Ive tried it with a variety of custom maps, could that be the issue? each one is new, generated within the game so..im at a loss as to why it crashes so much. IM at my wits end with this. :annoyed:

sins is 1.12. Most mods say 1.1 im hoping they mean the latest just leaving off the extra digit. I tried the Epic mod, which i love but the thing just CTD too much. I thought it was due to the pirate raids modification (had a lot of trouble with that back before the first patch..if i remember right) But now its even using ballknights graphics mod and thats it.

I'll keep testing it see if i can reproduce it at a particular point. I do run XP 64 at the moment, could that be the cause? I know several stardock programs do not like the OS much. I do run it in compatibility mode just to be sure but..*shrugs*

Ya I sometimes get this too. Even with mods that work with other people, they seem to crash with my version of the game even if it is that latest

well guys really, moding is not as easy as it seams when it comes to what the AI can handle, and long games where several codes are runing at the same time. Make sure you restart the gave after you enable the mod for one (make sure you click "lode on startup" and also save often. and yes, epic mod is not the best right now, it has some problems but that should be fixed in the next release when entrenchment is out (not in beta).

its not just the Epic mod, its any mod. I think i may have run across a bit of the problem. I had the AA set to full, while it was disabled in my Nvidia control panel. Im not sure thats the cause though. It just seems random at times, then others the game wont run more than 10 min before i get the typical crash dump.

ah oh well, i play it until i get fed up, go to something else then come right back. The game is still cool.
