i still freakin minidump everytime i try to modify the advent

i know whats causing it its in the ship count or cap ship thing

anyone tell me what the

 EXACT 

max for capships and shipcount is

i remember this is the EXACT problem that got me to quit playing back in april of last year

i was having soo much fun till i ran into a WALL trying to modify this

and ive never had a problem modifying these files with the vasari or the tec!

i swear this is begining to make me wanna just

thats not the problem great wonderful

now i have to go thru and delete every modded file i did till i find the one or ones that dont work

ah well atleast i found what was causing me to glitch out

still makes me mad

but atleast i can live with it

You can modify it. It just depends on what you are trying to do.

Btw, what is it that you were trying to do that caused the problem?

make the advent a bit more able to handle unfair (lol tweak ships tweak mineral/crystal extraction techs)

the playerpsi i was trying to stiffen sheilds mitigation

and make hyperspace faster

i know the hyperspace part was what was causing the problems LOL i had to try

Ya, you will run into mini dumps verry often when moding, usualy out of stupidity (ie, forgeting to change numbers when you add or remove stuff) or trying out areas you have never moded before. i know on a mod im working on, everything is find untill the AI tries to build a new ship i added in, it least i think thats the problem. its all trial and error untill you find something that works.

usually just stick with the basics when modding

numbers i can see and that i understand what they do

are numbers im gonna modify

i know some examples of what i do are ubermongering

but the game is insane at unfair so i need an advantage
