achievements

Not sure if it's per profile, but doesn't look like it.

It's all-in-one, not per mod, though.

Was talking with a friend that plays and it seems to us that the achievements are based on the profile or computer.  In my opinion, the achievements should be linked to the Stardock or Ironclad Online accounts.  I have reloaded my PC with Windows 7 and loaded up the game, but all of my achievements aren't there.  It's a little annoying, but Sins is still a great game!

By the way, has anyone got the Space Ponies achievment yet?  lol

I do not encourage cheating and actually did not cheat, but space ponies was ImpossiblE for me because I play on small maps, I would have to play a lot to find them. That and ancient artifacts.

I feel kinda sorry for myself

I actually found space ponies on a tiny map on like my third game.  The hardest ones to do legit, IMO, are getting all the military upgrades and no civvy upgrades.  You basically got to go for them co-op with another player because it takes literally forever to earn money without trade ports, and even then it's just long and tedious.  All artifacts at once is also hard (unless you jack up their spawn probability in Galaxy Forge... but most people wouldn't consider that legit), seeing as you can play a map with over a hundred planets and still have artifacts that don't spawn.  I've still yet to see a game where all artifacts spawn at normal probabilities, and I've played all the biggest stock systems.

The most I have seen are five at a time: Aerolian sector map...

Wish achievements showed up on your online profile when you click View Player profile or whatever that button reads...

Wouldn't be that great unless the system could distinguish between legit achievements and just plain cheating, and that would not be possible as far as I know.

lol, people cheating on getting single player achievements ... depressing to know ppl do that....

I just played Aerolian sector & found all the artifacts (assuming that there are 9 of them) except for space ponies.

I've found them all in the huge multi-system random map (and got a legit 100% acheivements).  I found all 12 once, including the new entrenchment artifacts, and here is a picture to prove it.  No cheating.  Except for this:  Start game, Save, Surrender, Keep Playing, view all artifact locations, Reload, and aquire & explore those locations.

Space Ponies are often on Pirate Bases.  So take over the base, and then explore it.  (Space Ponies is not an artifact, its a planet special ability).

I had all artifacts quite a few times.  First time I think it was on Huge Multi System.  It was a game vs AI after 4 hours.

Play the big maps then
