Recommended modifications?

I've played the game all night, having a blast! But I'm looking for some mods to make it even more exciting. I've seen two ones that look interesting, but I doubt they're compatible with eachother. If anyone could be so kind to post a link or something like that to their favourite or most popular modifications, that would be great.

it should be pointed out that 7 deadly sins is only compatible with 1.5 version there is also a startrek mod that works with 1.1x called sacrifice of angels. and my mod is in beta and works with 1.1x its the Campaign mod but to be honest its beta and you might be better off with another right now

Ok thanks. I am downloading Sins of a Galatic empire, it looks pretty cool. I always downloaded Distant Stars before, always cool. I am using 1.11 so I can't use 7 deadly sins then.

I run that mod and currently it is compatible with 1.12.  It combines Sins Plus and Solar Sins as well as elements from Sins enhanced and is mainly focused on planets and stars aspect of the game a long with some research.  I'm about 75% through making 1.1 version of the mod but 1.0 is available for download.  Version 1.1 will include much much much more stuff.  If you want more info than go to it's forum post.
