Out of Sync Every Time Ruins Multiplayer Gameplay

Well I have now attempted to play several games with my brother online and every time at some point the game loses sync and suddenly despite seeing eachothers chat and some ship movement we are no longer seeing the same enemies at the same place.  In short, I believe that has to be highest on the priority list of fixes as it makes it impossible to play cooperatively.  Soon as it happens we are of no help to one another and end the game.  Also, we both just found that the Tec starbase (we play as Tec) does not allow us to actually use the construct frigates and cruisers function, nor does it allow trade ships.......oh you can pay forem, but it just says when you klik to make one, that there is no frigate factory in that gravity well.  So we put one there and still nothing.. in effect I spent all funds necessary on 3 diff starbases and far as I can tell starbases atm are only useful as weapons. 

The first day or two we played we got mini dumps but since last update only problem for us has been primarily that the game will not stay in sync and since we are big time into multi-player games that issue simply ruins it, and then,  Ya gotta go play another game.  We just cant play since it is a constant restart fest.  Going to try one more today and see if it will let us finish one game with one single opponent, though I doubt the number of opponents will make much difference. 

To be clear though I must say I love the game, and bought it soon as it was released but stopped playing because it lacked enough depth for me. (I knew I would come back when there was an expansion) Further, the mines and starbases are awesom(in theory, as well as what I have seen and experienced) However,  losing sync constantly absolutely ruins the multiplayer side of the game so we will both just hope for the best and stop wasting time restarting 10 to 45 minute games. Anyway, that has been our experience with the expansion so far and I look forward to getting to play a whole multiplayer game without losing sync as I am sure it will be worth many hours of fun.  Keep up the good work devs but I do hope for the sake of the muliplayer side of the game that the "out of sync" issues can be resolved sooner rather than later.  You will have more testers that way me thinks.  :)

Yes i attempted to play the beta at a LAN and had the exact same problem.  At some point both games became out of sync and we were seeing enemy fleets in different systems at the same time.  I wanred him that the enemy were bombing his planet, to which he responded "no there not!, they're bombing your planet".  Upon pausing, we were in fact both right according to each of our machines.

We saved the game there and then I transferred my version of the latest save game to my friend's directory and this corrected the problem after a reload for approx 30mins before the game once again fell out of sync.

We restarted our computers, then started a new game and after approx an hour of play the same problem eventuated.

This problem is nothing short of the death of multiplayer for the beta in its current form.  Until a fix comes out, there is absolutely no point in attempting another MP game, which is a real shame because i'm a huge fan of the original and the ideas in entrenchment thus far (mine spamming excluded :P).

Somehwere on the forum is a dev post, where he said the sync problem should be fixed in the next build. Which might be out coming thu or wed.
