Wondering if this will run on my computer..

My first post

Okay um, sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I really love games like this and my wife and I bought a new computer. And well the last computer we had was able to run Homeworld, and all its sequels. Um but with Vista and the way hardware is described I am kinda at a loss, when it comes to understanding the requirements. So I am going to post my requirements and hope to recieve some helpful info.

Processor: Intel(R)Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2200 @ 2.20GHz  2.20GHz

Ram: 3.00 GB

Display Adapter: nvidia Geforce 7100/ Nvidia nForce 630i

I have a Windows Vista rating of 3. I am able to run the Witcher, and NWN2 and all the expansions. An they ask for or recommend a 5 (Witcher) and 4 (NWN2). So I am hoping for input before I buy this game. I know that I need to upgrade my video card and my power supply. But that will have to wait a little while.

To those that give advice and help thanks.

Sincerely,

Dragunwulf

I'm pretty sure you can run it, actually I'm very sure. Might want to wait for some more replies though, not really me field of expertise.

I would think you would be fine. You may not be able to run Sins at full graphics because of your processor (as it just meets the requirements). Well I'm not a wiz when it comes to computers so I would wait for some second opinions from the rest of the community.

Edit: Dang it! I was hoping to get the first post. *sad face* lol and we pretty much said the same thing. Awesome!

I have Sins installed on both my new and old computer.  My old computer runs it just fine (has troubles on big maps late game though) and it has much worse specs than your machine.

You should have no trouble running this IMHO.  I run SINS on my old laptop and it is below the minimum specs listed for game.   stock dell laptop with a 1.6 Ghz cpu single core, 512 Mb ram, and intergrated video and XP Pro.  Granted big games are not going to work too good, but it gets me my fix when away from desktop.

Medium to low settings. The game has been optimized quite a bit since the initial release, so make sure you get the newest patch asap.

Thanks for the information. I think I am going to go ahead and get it.

Thanks again.
