Is there a way to change the priority of items in the research queue after they are queued up?
Also, is there a way to make ownership icons on ships dissapear? i have unchecked the option for showing ownership icons for meshes in cenimatic mode but they still seem to show up over ships 
For the research question: Not that I know of, except deleting the que and starting them in a differrent order. (No effect on your current research, but can be a lot of work)
When I use cinematic mode, the ownership icons disappear. Try switching some other options.
For turning off the ownership icons when you are not in cinematic mode first make sure in the User Interface Tab that the Cinematic Mode tab is on Off. Then go up and turn off the Show Mesh Ownership Icons. That gets rid of the ownership icons without having to be in Cinematic mode.
Note: If you hover over or select a unit the icons will show up, but if you remain unselected then they won't appear.
Also if you want to turn of the ship icons then make sure the Show Icons tab is set to off.
And as for the Research tree. I don't think so.
To order in which yuou select will dictate the order they are researched
let say u click research lava planet research, then drone, then lava again... the order of research is lava, drone, lava, if you already have the 2 research station, however, if you only have 1 research already build, and one not yet, the lower research will be researched first. like drone, then when you have 2 research then it will research lava, lava
and if you want to move things up, unclick the ones before it, and reclick, the once that u have just reclicked will move to the bottom and research queue will move up, given that you research the necessary research to update it
