Serial number from russian version isn't recognazed by Impulse

I have russian version "Sins of a Solar Empire" from "1C" and "Snowball" companies. Now i'm using english version 1.12 because last russian update is 1.05. When i'm trying to register my game in Impulse i can't do it. "Serial number isn't recognazed by Impulse". What should i do? How i can get updates?

The key on the CD/DVD sticker isn't the one you can use to register the game on Stardock - you have to use it to register the game on Russian official site. This would allow you to receive the Stardock key and register the game to play online, etc.
