Running both standard and beta?

How do I do it?

The last time I installed the beta, it overwrote my standard version.  I had to eventually uninstall beta, and reinstall standard.  This time, I'd like to have both versions so I don't have to do any uninstalls/reinstalls.

How do I do this?  I figured it would be "pinned" but I didn't see anything or couldn't find it.

Thanks.

Upgrade your standard SINS to version 1.13 once done copy the hole folder and put it say on your desktop.

Then rename you original sins to what ever you want. I for one just added 1.13 at the end.

Then move your copy folder in the same directory as the 1.13 one.

Restart impulse, it should detect only 1 copy of sins maybe 2. If it detects only one you good just upgrade it to beta and once done restart impulse it should then see 3 copies of sins one original and one entrenchment.

If impulse detects 2 sins copied ta first then it's a case of russian rollet on witch copy you will instal beta on.

Once done you will want to preperly relink your shortcuts to running both versions of sins.

As per what EadTaes said...

But I find this to be rather lame to be honest...

Cant we have 2 separate .exe files and let Impulse take care of both!?!?!

Or anything else really that isn't this rather primitive and tedious work of installing / reinstalling / copy / pasting rubbish :s
