Is there any way to dowgrade to 1.05?

I was wondering if it was possible to downgrade SoaSE to version 1.05 without using a CD, because I bought the game a while ago, but since I've bought it I've lost the CD and I found out that the version that I updated to today doesn't support 7 Deadly Sins.

Without the original CD, I don't know how to do it.  The Impulse install will take you straight to the current version, you can't roll it back.

The GOOD news is there are 1.05 stand alone patches available and they are easy to find....for example here is one at filefront.  1.05 was the last stand alone patch before Impulse, if memory serves:

My advice is to convince one of your friends to buy a retail box of Sins and then borrow his CD and hope it is one of the earlier versions.  Or maybe you have a friend who already has a copy you can borrow?

I've tried the patches, they don't patch 1.13 correctly, and it crashes at the start.

And I don't have any friends within walking distance. I barely have friends within biking distance.

Well since you updated past 1.05 that must mean sins is registered to impulse so it digital now you can unistall it and reinstall to the desired patch.

As noted by the initial reply, the only way to have 1.05 at this point is to install from a retail disc and update via the standalone, or to have backed up 1.05 before updating to 1.1.

Installing a standalone patch over a newer version will generally break your install. Doing such is pretty much never a good idea.

Only the latest versions are available on Impulse.

Yeah there are good mods out there like 7ds that are for 1.05 but soon they will be for v1.13.

Well there looks like there is no way to downgrade to v1.05, without the instalation disc.

Unless you knew what every file was in v1.05 and change it back that way.
