[Beta 2] Minor items

  • Although the laser and psionic surge ports have now been switched on the Advent SB, the second upgrade graphic is still for what are now the laser ports.
  • You can't place a starbase in the center of an Asteroid Belt or other empty sector. Not a big gameplay issue but the snap-to aspect is annoying.
  • Laying one homing mine seems to cost as much as laying a whole squadron.  Or maybe one mine creates a whole squadron's worth of mines? Either way it's a little wonky.
  • Starbase constructors still autojoin fleets. Ech.
  • The hit targets on the upgraded Advent hangar bay seem off. I keep seeing things shooting through the shield bestower.

The thing that I found buggy though was when I was setting a build target, panning the cursor around whilst keeping the mouse button down, I kept getting that "invalid selection" sound clip even though I'd not released the mouse button; if I had I'd have understood, but as I was only panning around I don't think I should be hearing it.

Right, since this thread's more generic in bug scope, I'll list another ;)

Planetary view (the one which lists your ships in the left hand arc and enemy ships in the right, base structures underneath - whatever it's called!):

I'll build a starbase and have it build a fighter and bomber squadron from its two free slots.  Those squadrons, when built, are then shown in the left hand arc.  Wouldn't be a problem but if I have another ship in that gravity well, like a starbase builder (forgot the name), I can't select it from this view - the starbase's free squadrons take precedence.  Other squadrons, from hanger defences or from starbase upgrades don't operate like this.
