[Fixed] How do we get vanilla 1.13 installed if first had beta 2 installed?

To Stardock/Ironclad - How do we get vanilla 1.13 installed if first had beta 2 installed?

I have tried uninstalling many times and get XML Document error (28,8).

I can restore my 1.12 archive via Impulse. However I cannot tell Impulse to only install 1.13 - it continues to believe that Entrenchment is installed, but not correctly and I need to patch it to get it fixed. Impulse does this, and I end up back at Beta 2.

I already copied Beta 2 to another folder so I can play with it - I just want a vanilla 1.13 so I can get back online playing multiplayer in 1.13.

Please help - I haven't been online for 4 days now apart from into ICO via Entrenchment to see if anyone there could advise me how to fix this issue.

And I KNOW I can't be the only one with this issue as others are getting the 1.13 error.

I would be happy with 2 seperate installs if requried - one for vanilla and one for Entrenchment, at least until they are compatable such that I can chose which version to use. Just let be able to play 1.13!!!

After a bit of mucking around I got it fixed

Removed two keys under

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Stardock\Drengin.net (using Vista 64, hence the Windows on Windows location)

Restored 1.12 from Impulse archieve (you should be taking archives people - it is SOOOO worth it..)

Applied update.

Off to play now - ciao
