The unique way Sins has transformed space simulation strategy gaming could be applied in any of the popular space adventures today.

I'm just saying: Gene Roddenbery (Heaven bless him) or George Lucas would piss in their pants if their space battles have the look and feel of Sins of a Solar Empire.

I am pretty aware that there is a group out there working on Star Trek mods for Sins. Why not Stardock go the extra mile and do it themselves? Still, if most of the profits go to the studio giants and copyright owners, forget it.

you Mods like Scarfice of Angels and Star wars Warlords at the end of the day Stardock cant do Startrek Star wars or battlestar Due to they need buy the lience which atm for star trek Cryptic has it for Star trek online and Ubi soft or massive hold the battlestar and Lucas holds the star wars

Acutally there are mods for the Star Wars, Star Trek, and Battlestar Gal, just click Modding portion of the forums, they are usually one the first page

I for one would love to see SD &IC get a licenses for any of the major SciFi franchises for the second Sins x-pack after Entrenchment is finished. Who knows with all the glory Sins got this year as well as fame for SD and Frogboy in particular maybe SD/IC might have enough juice to get one if they tried. I would start with Ron Moore and BSG since it is the smallest and most likely to take a chance (not that the others have not wasted licenses in the past to begin with). Moreover the other two have other titles in development now and BSG has none that I'm aware of at the moment.

A Battlestar Galactica addon/game would be nice but it should thematize the first Cylon War and not get involved with the Series storyline. This should give the game designers more freedom and thus improving the game instead of forcing them self into an inflexible corset. But if they pick up any franchises they should always pick the one they are fond themselves, to create a game they like to play them self instead a game that other could maybe like.
