[BUG] Vasari Starbase Phasegate

just tested the new changes in beta 2.5 with the phasegates on starbases.

the ability now needs 150 antimatter but the upgrade does not provide any.

 

so you have to research and upgrade either vortex or shield to be able to use the phase gate and sacrifice one of those abilites at the same time.

the ability should give at least 150 antimatter as the others do.

 

very easy to fix I think but crucial to gameplay ;)

I noticed that one as well - don't know if thats by design or a glitch!  I'm going for the latter! ;P

Indeed, also on a side note, when using the Vasari super cannon - the target planet used to say "Phase Stabalizer" or something, now there is no text under the planet info card - altho you can still send your fleet to that planet...

I noticed this, too. Personally, I prefer the old way where no anti-matter is used.

me too.

ehm, i tried with a game started in 2.0 the "new" ability but it seems not to work propely... i had a starbase near the sun and the phase gate actived but me fleet seems not to know it... are you also having this problem? i also remember that sometimes in beta 1.0 even the normal phase gate didn't work... uhm...
