unable to install mods

from Sins Forums

I've downloaded a few mods, but i am unable to install them. it says that the path to install the mod is

'C:\users\<profilename>\appdata\local\ironclad games\sins of a solar emipre\mods\' folder.

C:programs\stardockgames\sins of a solar emipre

 

i have no mod folder to place the mod in.

 

any hlep would be so thankfull

Please note these directories may be Hidden by default. To unhide them, go to your Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View and set yourself to view hidden files and folders.

hey thanks it looks like this worked. i should of thought about the folder option.

actually i have the same issue - no mods folder visible - running xp and did the control panel folders check box thing then apply it and still no apparent mods folder. one of the countless mods i unzipped to the recommended folder did make it there but i dont know how it got there, and it works with the soase game but not with entrenchment , my cp locks up as soon as i hit the load folder button.i guess that is 2 seperate issues, but any help on the mods issue is appreciated. am i doing something wrong?

The mod works fine with SoaSE but not Entrenchment? Not surprising. Mods generally have to be updated for each version of the game, and won't work on versions they weren't designed for. Few mods have been updated to Entrenchment yet.
