How do you use a Wormhole?

Hey guyz, I'm new (ish) to Sins and can't find any documentation on how wormholes work. I'm assuming you use them to jump to the other wormhole across the map, but I can't get my ships to interact with it.

Please help~!

Research your faction's wormhole tech, then order one of your units directly into the center of the wormhole. After that, units should use them automatically.

As noted above, you'll need to research wormhole navigation under your faction's civilian tech.

There's also an artefact that grants wormhole teleportation as a secondary bonus, but it's probably best not to rely on that one. Also, in case you wondered, wormhole 'teleportation' is instant - unlike phase lanes, there's no travel time.

4 I think.

It's named "  Worm Hole Navigation  "

It's 5 civic centers for all factions.  No prerequisites.

I am not aware that it consumes anti-matter for travel?

Except for Vasari. They get their wormhole travel tech at Tier 4.

If I've understood, in order to travel through wormholes, i just have to send my fleet in the nearest wormhole of my planet? So, if there are more than two wormholes in the map, where my fleet will choose as destination?

Each wormhole goes to only one other wormhole in a two-way link. You find out what the link is when you send them through.

A wormhole isn't assured to be a two-way link.  If a wormhole's target is not another wormhole, then you cannot return to your origin from the destination.  While this a fairly rare layout on most maps, you should pay attention to it because using such a wormhole can be a serious risk.

So, when designing a map, each wormhole can only have ONE worm-lane into and out of it?  IOW, if you have one central wormhole and it links to four outside wormholes, it won't work?

the womholes can ONLY connect to ONE other wormhole/gw, I just did a quick & dirty test of 2,3,4 connections to each wormhole & only one link worked

lol imigine what would happen if it opened 2 ways, half of your ships appears at one end, of the galaxy and the other in some other part of the map, I would imigine that it would just explode? or would just lose half health?

mooster in sins it can not happen as the engine FORBIDS more than one wormhole path from a wormhole to be active ie work
