[Bug Beta 25] Game crashes when manually targetting meson beam on empty space

Hello Developers,

I've stumbled upon a small bug that's not really nice:

With the TEC Gauss Cannons fully upgraded (with Meson Beam), when using the Meson beam manually and targetting empty space the game will crash.

I have a savegame along with associated minidump uploaded to my webspace: http://home.arcor.de/phil.chris/save.rar

I'd guess it's a NULL pointer or something like that, good luck

I'd bet money this related to the repair bay bug that did the same thing when you tried to manually repair something and missed. Testers should check all such abilities.
