AI Problems

I tried Beta 2.5 (singleplayer) and I noticed how much my fleet AI has changed. First of all I noticed that after phase my fleet just stood there and shoot everyone who came close and my Kol didnt even go to bomb asteroid which was under Vasari control. I had to manually move my fleed and order Kol to bombard asteroid and when Vasari reinforcements phased in my frigates just stood close to Kol (watching fireworks) and didnt go attack incomin Vasari ships. (Auto attack is on if you wonder that).

Before once my fleed completed phase they automatically attacked structures and ships and planets while I could go do some other business and not baby sit them 24/7. Right now my bigest problem is that fleed do not move to attack after phase. Bug or glitch I dunno.

have you changed the formation behaviour or the aggro range settings?

Yes, there are engagemant range settings under fleet management: hold position (shoot only at enemies that are inrange), local area (will chase targets in a small radius), and gravity well (kill every enemy at the current gravity well). Check the setting you have, all ships should default to gravity well though. Also check if the attack command is on "autocast".
