Problems getting the Scenario TGA Graphic to display properly

(It shows up all white)

Hi all, and sorry if this has been covered before, however I have spent way too much time trying to get the TGA file to display the scenario graphic properly.  It just shows up all white.  I tried using GIMP and didn't have much luck, so I tried Photoshop 7 and still can't get it to work properly.  I know it is a 177x92 size graphic that has some notches cut out on it so it will fit on the UI properly.  What I thought was going to finally work was making a 32 bit TGA with no compression.  When I opened the TGA it was showing that it had the transparency (grey/white) grid behind it, so I was sure it was going to work this time, but again Phail :/  I even have used one of the defaults as a template guide.  I noticed they only had one layer.  So I would cover it up and merge it and the text down to the base layer, and save it.  But anywho, maybe it is something simple I am overlooking, but I hope someone else might have the answer to this, or perhaps at least had the same problem.  Anywho, thanks for the help!

(bump)  Sorry but I didn't even see this show up when it posted.  I won't spam bump it, just want people to see this because it is probably an easy fix.  Thanks again.

If it shows up white the file is not found,

I added my scenario TGAs into the texture folder of my mod (since you can only play the maps with the mod)

as long as the mod is not running the pics show up white, but if I started my mod the picture is shown.

so maybe you have not the correct name of your picture in your map file.

be shure that the spelling is correct and remove ".tga" and any path if you have one in you reference.

i havent tried yet adding the scenario pics into the normal texturefolder, but i think this should also work.

Thanks so much for responding, I was afraid no one would read it.  I have seen that if there isn't a graphic listed it shows up transparent instead of all alpha white.  I did put the file in the textures directory and pointed to it with the map I made.  And I did make sure before hand that the .tga extension was removed. I haven't tried putting the graphic into the mod directories, since I had read it was the textures directory.

Not sure what I did wrong with the original name, but even though it was the same it didn't work.  Maybe it didn't like me using the _ character perhaps.  But got it working, thanks for the help
