Entrenchment: bugs and minidump

After playing for around 3 hours today (SoaSE scares me in how it eats time...) I noticed a few bugs. I was playing as Vasari. The first thing I noticed was the commonly reported one at least 2 separate occasions, star bases started attacking while they were still under contruction. These both occured when building them around my planets, and building them at a time such that I would lose the planet before they completed building. This bug saved one of the two planets it occured on. The second bug was purely graphical. All or nearly all weapons fire effects disappeared. It seems to happen during big battles involving TEC missile ships. The mini-dump occured during another battle, between a medium sized TEC fleet and 4 Vasari capships as well as one Vasari starbase which was under construction. The TEC fleet was firing at the Vasari migrator ship just as it was beginning to turn into a starbase. The game crashed just as it turned from the migrator into the under construction starbase.

After loading the savegame, the game had another minidump. This one also occured when I tried building a starbase, just as it went from migrator to star base under construction. The starbase was not under attack at the time, so that causing it is ruled out. Perhaps some sort of limit on starbases which if exceeded causes a crash? Going to try again under various conditions.

Edit: After loading the savegame again, it seems to be able to build starbases just fine if no enemies are in the gravity well. Going to try some more with enemies in the well now.

Edit 2: Turned down all effects settings to minimum, no effect. Still minidumps when building a starbase in area with hostile fleet.

Edit 3: After further testing, if I send in ships before I send in the migrator, no minidump occurs. My guess would be a problem with the code involving AI targeting the starbase at the moment it goes from migrator to under-construction-starbase.

I heard that there was a mini dump when enemy ships are attacking just when a starbase stars building. It should be fixed for the next patch.
