Mesh Files

Is there a way to reverse the process?!

Is there a way to reverse the process, i know that there is a program including in the forge tools, and that it changes xsi to mesh. but is there a program, that is simple to use, and without downloading several hundred megabytes (not too fond of downloading) to edit and see the changes without having to use the developer?

Because I want to change for personal use a mesh of one of mods that I like best, and I don't think the developers would even give out the xsi.

The current version is somewhat buggy but this works in max and you can export via Crosswalk to XSI as well. Let me know if you want me to do it for you, as I can export back and forth at will.

Wondering if I could ask a mesh question here rather then starting a new thread. I currently have a issue with a existing model not resizing. I scale it down heaps but the whole thing remains same after converting XSI file. Am I missing something, I can only think that perhaps the whole scene needs to be resized somehow not just the objects in it?

Cheers if you can help anyone

@dchan1936: There is a thread on that here somewhere...

@PRiME2006: There (if I remember correctly) is a scale setting in the forgetools... (or something it edits)

You need to "Freeze all transforms".  You find the option in Mod Tool mode on the right hand side if you click on the "Transform" labeled button/header above the various scale/move/rotate options.  It's probably a good idea to then freeze the object and all modelling afterwards as well.

Save and then export and it should have been resized properly.  I ran into the same issue with my first model as well but the ever knowledgeable EOmega managed to point me in the right direction.
