It seems that Sins conflicts with the latest version of Skype. I don't know if it's possible to fix, since Skype may be forcing the issue, but whenever I have Skype open, Sins keeps minimizing every time I try to switch to it.
The workaround is to use windowed mode, but I've always preferred my games full screen.
This is a Skype issue as I've had it do it to me on other games also, was really peaved off about it as I had just bought a new game when I installed it and was trying for ages to get the game working thinking it was the game's fault.
Anyways the way to solve it seems to be to close Skype, start up the game and then start Skype afterwards if you want to use it, seems to work for me.
Looks like there's a workaround and Skype is aware of the issue.
. . . and it's a problem wiith using fullscreen games in general, I just noticed it in Sins first.
