Making Phase Jump cost no anti-matter

I can't seem to find the file that I can use to mod the cost of phase jumping.  I want to mod it to zero so that the colony ship becomes useful again because right now it jumps and then you have to wait forever for its anti-matter to recharge before you can colonize.

It's in each race's entity file (hyperspaceData section):

baseHyperspaceAntiMatterCost 100.0

Not to rain on your parade, but isn't this like cheating?  I mean, you might as well just increase the AM regen rates, DPS on ships, and hull points.  I use the colony ship all the time in multi-player; it is possible to use it correctly.

I'm changing it for all races, not just the one I'm using so I guess I'm cheating for the AI as well because they will benefit too.  It's not an issue of using it correctly.  I still use them, but just not as much as I would if they were more effective.  I hate having to wait for them to recharge anti-matter because they don't have enough to phase jump and then colonize.  It just seems dumb, what's the point of a colony frigate if it can't colonize?

Thanks for the tip Annatar :)

:)  Roy,

You can also increase the amount of anti-matter the colony ship has, or the restore rate. I have done this myself, as in some battles my abilities were grayed out most of the time, especially in large fleet battles. So i increased it, but like you did, i did it for all races. The end result was i jumped into a gravity well and was attacked immediately, but was able to fight off the first several waves, which gave me time to get some re-inforcements in. Also, one or two abilities would dip down into gray under heavy heavy fire from the enemy, but one at a time. That was nice, instead of dying immediately.

I guess this makes me a mediocre player, but to be honest i play solo almost exclusively, and for that, enjoyment is my number one priority. Others crave competition, and thats ok for them, but i like not dying right off the bat.  :)

Keeps me playing the game and enjoying it too.  :)

Take care and have fun, and mod it the way you feel is best.

Lol cheating for AI, ok with the v1.00 i set all players to have more 1 million units of all three resources, even after 2 hours, they are even able to put up much of a fight even with AI at hardest
