Entrenchment -- Will it get played in online multiplayer?

So, now that Entrenchment has been released and people have had a chance to play it online, what is the outlook for it becoming the standard for online multiplayer?  Does it increase the amount of time it takes to play a game (in online multiplayer)?  Will it more or less become necessary to purchase it in order to play Sins online?

Can I just say this..

After having played a few online games with Entrenchment , Im really Glad  that Ironclad had the foresight NOT to promote defensive options in the Original game for the sake of a dynamic fleet orientated game to compensate for its slow nature. Atleast I got a good year out of it.

I would like too but think the carrier build penalty while enemy ships are it he grav well is turning alot fo them off and for good reason. A simple scout is enought to give 75% build penalty. I personaly think they shoudl take teh penalty off. or at teh very least make it so that it applies only to carriers that are currently taking fire from enemy ships.

So hillarious this entrenchment thing.  Wait till guys tarts building base, jump in kill it before its done building and he is out 3k credits.  Do it twice and it's autolose for him :)

Has anyone who bought Entrenchment decided that they'd prefer to play regular Sins?
