You guys could start out by playing Humans v. AI games (aka "comp stomps").  You'd get to enjoy the camraderie of other human players while being able to get used to using teamwork and to having real human allies.  You can also keep an eye on what each other is doing and learn from your allies' tactics, etc.

I'm pretty much an offline only player who's been looking for a good opportunity to get into playing some multiplayer.  I've played a grand total of 1 online game, and that was back in v1.02ish... so I'm probably going to be caught VERY off guard by anything goofy humans try.  Don't draw any conclusions regarding my experience from the fact that I've had the game since it came out, I've only played the game 6 or 7 times against normal AIs.  I just haven't had the time to really get into it yet... here's hoping some good multiplayer matches will help.

On a side note, I have a one week break from classes this week, so I should have a lot of free time.  Just let me know when you guys wanted to have the game.

I'm also interested in finding some weekend or evening (est) online games.  Never played online just learning the game again after setting it aside since launch.

I have not played online once. I have been toying with the idea however. I am a mediocre player. I would prefer to play a humans vs AI game as I generally get the most enjoyment out of that.

The trick for me is getting my wife to let me use the computer that has the nice video card and is hooked up to our 47" tv. She just can't play her Warcraft anywhere else anymore.

I tried a 46" TV with sins once.  It was totally epic until I realized I couldn't read any of the text from where I was sitting.  Made budgeting a little difficult when I couldn't see my credit total .

We run into that problem too with games that have not been tested on it. With a little bit of tweaking here and there we can get almost everything perfect.

Diablo 2 and Left 4 Dead have been exceptions as we are using my laptop mouse and I do not have that fast of a reaction time with it. It really bums me out now that our rediculous sound system can actually make the shotgun sound like a shotgun.

And to add to my first post....We do have another computer in the house that can run "SINS", I have just been spoiled. I can still game if she is on the TV computer.

Lewdness is preferred, it gets boring otherwise. 

When I try any human vs. human action I'm usually the one getting stomped.. so comp stomps do sound fun, I'm game.

Oh, also.. where do I go in these wonderful forums to get some Xfire love?

I haven't played online so far, but I always wanted to do so In a few days, exams are over so I'll have more time and I'd be up for a round of comp stomp to get used to online play.

I've had this game for about a week (Sins + Entrenchment) and I think I'm ready to try some human opponents now.  I've got a couple days off coming up March 17 & 18 that I'm willing to devote to my ass getting stomped .  I don't think I'm really interested in a 2 vs cpu "comp stomp" as it seems to be called, but if anyone is willing to try a 1 vs 1 or FFA on these days let me know.  I'm sure that playing against me will be about as difficult as playing vs the cpu on the 'hard' setting.

If we could get 3 or more for FFA that would be optimal.

i would love to play!!! we usually play entrenchment distant stars comp stomp. but i´m flexible. Just don´t expect an online crack, if you play me, i play to chill out after a long day
