Still can not get mods to work

Ok I down loaded the latest fix and when I put my mod in the 1.01 folder the Entrenchment game sees it.  I enable it and apply and no errors but no checksum either.  What is the secret?

Checksum will only appear for changes to certain data types. What exactly did you mod?

he proly used a mod for normal sins or the mod he had did not contain the entity.manufest (it least thats what it sounds like)

I moded a whole bunch of stuff.  However I do not know about the manifest files.  What exactly do I have to modify in those and where are they?

In the Entrenchment folder. If you mod an entity file for example you need to copy the entity.manifest file to the mod directory and edit it so the entity count is higher and add the new entity to the list.

I added some sins files also into the mod folder because some of the files I wanted to mod were not in the Entrenchment gameinfo folder.  What do I have to do with the manifest file?  It looks like it has a list of all of the files in it.?

exactly. the entity.manifest is a list of all files entrenchment should load. just add any new files to it. keep in mind some files for entrenchment are already there. and you still got to add files that you have taken from original sins (if entrenchment does not have those files in its gameinfo folder).

so if I add the files I have in the mod folder into the entity.manifest file the mod will work?  In other words the files in the manifest and the folder have to match?

if you want any files in the game info folder read, it has to be listed in the Entity.manifest. anything not listed in that manifest will be ignored by the game.

The ones listed there are not read in the mod folder.  Do I have to move the manifest file somewhere?
