Super weapons question/ Idea

Well this has probably been asked before so I apologize if it has, anyways i was watching Gundam Seed Destiny earlier and wondering if it is possiable to have a weapon system similar to Reqium. For those who dont know what it is I will explain, It was a beam weapon that could fire from the opposite side of the moon by using stations put in various area's to bend the beam to hit the primary target. Now I wonder if it is possible to do something similar in Sins, like having the main weapon station in your capitol system and your outlining systems have a mirror station and bam it can use those to hit a target of your choice. I know its kinda a long shot but ,maybe even something similar I dunno but if anyone knows that would be awesome.

well i cant say yes or no to this because i never really tried, but id lean more towards not possible. since you cant really pinpoint a particular station in a grav well to continue the beam.

Understandable, but what if you just have that station in a grav well and using your main weapon you click a planet one grav well away from the nearest station and boom it just shows it doing. Like System A is one jump Away from system B and C is one from B. A Has the Main Weapon shoots a beam to a staion in B to hit C. See when I was thinking about how it could work I was watching my Influence slowely grow between systems and planets and thats what kinda gave me some hope it was possible.

the biggest problems with your idea are 1: it would take a MASSIVE ammount of particals to make a beam this long for a period of time. 2: it would mean you got to REALLY up the partical count or else you get a "blob" if you even get a beam at all. 3: the superweapons are just structures with abilities on them. you cant really link them in order, it would jsut fire directly at the enemy planet (although i wouldnt rule it out, like i said, MAYBE with enough coding you might be able to link them but it would not work like you want since you would have to use that ability on EVERY station untill you finally decide to atack the planet). 4: theres really nothing in between grav wells, so besides a phased "bullet" like the superweapons shoot, i dont think a beam would work.  but with enough moding, who knows, no one is really 100% of ALL of entrenchments capabilities besides the devs but i still think its a no no, but like anything elce in sins, with soem comprimises and some editing, who knows.
