"Attack warning" glitch?

I wanted to put this in an "Entrenchment" category, but there isn't one.  I felt weird sticking it under "Beta" as there is no longer a Beta.  Feel free to move this to the appropriate area.

At any rate, in Entrenchment, I no longer get an "attack warning" when I'm being attacked.  There I am, dropping down a civ lab, conducting research, doing whatever, and I just happen to scroll out and see that I've been under attack for the last 3 minutes at some far-flung system, and I've never been notified about it.  This happens to me time and time again, and it happens to my friends I play online with as well.  It happened to me all last night, the entire time I was playing.

Has anyone else noticed this?  Do the devs need to be made aware of it with a "formal bug report" of some kind?

I've only noticed it when there is alot going on already.  Like you're build a couple of planets at once and several structures finish within a couple of seconds of each other, reasearch is done at the same time, and a phase jump is completed.  just to much going on for the voice to say it all.  That's the only time I have noticed this.

Maybe that's the explanation then.  I'd like more confirmation from others, if possible.

Ive noticed it too, usaly when somthing else is happening, such as a when a completed building overlaps the warning.  thank god they fixed the compleation notice for each and every mine.

The system should prioritise all attack, incoming attacks and bounty changes to play over all else, so that they aren't skipped.

Example;

"Planet Development Complete"

That's great, except you didn't audibly warn me about the inbound hostiles!

lol, the notice would get over lapped and you wouldnt know till you see a ultimate weapon projectile heading for the sun.
