Question for Modders about music triggers

I've have my own music playing in Sins for many months, but I'm still pretty confused about the triggers, so I have a couple of specific questions:

Are the songs "Battle #", "Trouble #" and "Quiet #" random, or does each # have a specific trigger.  For example, I can never get Battle 5 to play, regaurdless of what song I put there.  And I also want to find the specific trigger that starts the trouble/battle music (I'm sick of hearing battle/trouble music EVERY TIME a scout is casually moving through one of my distant gravity wells, or frantic battle music just because my Kol is attacking a scout).

In fact, if you know the trigger that gives you a warning each and every time a scout is moving towards your planets, I'd so want to know what it is (so I can disable it).

I'm pondering this one myself... even when I cut down the player music options to one file it still randomly selects from generic music themes!

I still can't figure it out.  I have up to 14 different songs in each catagorey, but sometimes the same song will play over and over.  I just set it up so that one song (that never seems to play) is in there 3 different #s, but it played only once the entire 4+ hour game (and that was for about 10 seconds).

how do you convert .wav or .mp3 to to an ogg file?

It's a "FreeMP3WMAOOGConverter".  Hightly recomeded on the net, and works perfet.  All the songs I've convert play fine, and play during play, it's just that some songs play dozens of times, while others I never hear play during an entire game.
