Entrenchment 1.01 minidump crash

It seems I'm plum out of memory

greetings.

So I'm running Entrenchment 1.01 retail on a huge galaxy map with 9 AI players. I got about four hours in and now I face the  infamous minidump crash. I've been reading up on the issue, but most of the issues were in the beta's of entrenchment and I thought they fixed this, but I guess not. I switched to windowed mode and just watched the mem useage creep up to 2GB in task manager and sure enough, right around 2GB, minidump crash. Granted taking the settings down to high or lower shows a lot less mem usage (obviously), but I have to agree with what a few people stated before that lowering the settings is not a fix.

I zipped up all the neccessary files and sent them out to the support email at ironclad. Haven't heard back from them, but I figure they've probably got their hands full at the moment.

I'm running at highest settings at 1920x1280 on an intel i7, geforce 280 gtx and maxed out ram on vista 32.

Just kinda wondering if anyone else is having the minidump crash in the retail 1.01 entrenchment. I can't imagine I'm the only one crazy enough to run a 102 planet, 5 star map with 9 AI players on highest detail :D

Sins is such an awesome game. I just wish I could play it in all its glory :(

Not sure if our issue is the same, but I just posted about a mini in a large 9ai game about 30 minutes ago. https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/343788 Only difference is mine was stable until I saved and re-loaded it on a later day. e6700 @ 3.2 4gb ram 8800gtx on win7 64bit beta here. Mine didn't report a memory issue though, not even sure if win7 64 would have the same limit.

This should be fixed in the new patch released today. We made huge memory savings to help guarantee Sins and Entrenchment stay under 2 gigs (unless of course you have a mod that pushed it way over).
