It's been a while since I've played (SP only) ...bought the expansion and got back into the game. A problem I've run into is where my credits will reach ~1200 - ~2000 and they'll reset to zero. What gives?
Are you building starbases? when you have your deep space consrtucters build a starbase, it wont take the resorses to build one till it starts, if you dont have enough credits when it reaches its building location, it will wait till you have enough, then automaticly take them out of the bank to build.
No, no star bases.....it usually starts within minutes of beginning of a game. Like I said my credits will get to 1200 -2000 and then they'll reset to zero.....get back up to 1200 ...reset to zero.
No, Advent setting mines to auto. I thought I had noticed a correlation between the two but have yet to duplicate it. I guess what I'm after is that is this a recognised bug or part of the gameplay....sort of a pentaly for lack of development or somethin' like that??
ive never seen anything like that. what we are trying to do is replicate it. so as much information as you can give the better.
game settings, or even a saved game file maybe helpful so we can try to narrow it down. if we can duplicate the problem, then the devs will have something to look into.
i personally havent seen it yet, but ive havent play that much entrenchment yet, and havent played advent. considering the number of people on this forum that were involved in the beta program, i would surprised if this is really a bug.
Ive tried a few times and cant seem to replicate the issue. Is it still a reoccuring problem? I might suggest a re-install to see if that fixes it. I know that there are some behind the scene progames on windows that can cause problems with games like some tax-prep programs, and that could possabley cause some problems, but I havent had any. Just some thoughts.
wifey and i have played entrenchment solid for a week now and we havent seen anything like this. the oddest thing we found was if windows media player is minimized to the tool bar in vista it can bleed through if some circumstances. nothing on credits disappearing.
