Question on custom maps

I apologize if this is in the wrong place.

I'm going to host a LAN party later this month and I was going to create a couple custom maps.  It will be a "Comp Stomp" evening and my plan was to design the maps in such a way that a player could hold a choke point or two between the AI and the rest of the human players.

The reason for this is I know a couple of the people may not play more than once before arriving and I don't want them getting mauled by the AI. Although I will place pirates in the backfield of the humans for a "Harassing" force }:)

If I have read correctly, I need to manually transfer the map(s) to everyone's computers before we can play them correct?

Can you refreash me on the file location the maps need to be saved in?

Thank you for your answers.

The maps are all saved in one place, i believe, and the location would be C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Galaxy

the maps would have to be transfered on a memory stick or virtual harddrive

hope this awnsers the question

ps: could somone check and make sure that the user generated maps go to the same place(and that this is the correct way to go about it :)

yes, the user maps do go the same place, I know since I made my own.  Entrenchment's mapmaking is a little different, you still stick the maps in the galaxy folder, but you also have to open the "galaxy.manifest" (with notepad) and type in the map manually.  if you did everything right you should be good to go.
