There had been a rather large demand for cloak, and I think that its about time that we really took it to IC and showed them just how much demand there is for it. Not only included in the game, but to be included as a resource for modders to use for those mods that just don't feel right without it.

Perhaps it can be a buff that applies itself in the gravity well, and removes itself when it attacks or is detected, and can't renew itself until in leaves the gravity well? Not ideal for defending, but until they listen to the petition I think its a fair way to do it. You still get a surprise attack and your opponent can still shoot back.

how does having researched weapon upgrades on ships tie into cloaking?  (someone posted on one of my old topics about it being "the same") but meh.
