Banned for not offering your like/dislike on the keyboard I mentioned.
banned for I thought it was a good question. When studying in France, I had a tough time using the keyboards there. They use the same alphabet we do, but are laid out differently. I never ran across a keyboard there that matched the layout I normally use. So, for all we knew, you had a keyboard similar to that or (as Scoutdog suggested) one utilizing Greek letters only.
There are no keyboards utilizing Greek letters only, as far as I know or heard of. Wanna guess why?
Because Greece is almost a 3rd world country. We are at the bottom of Second world countries atm. Plus, population=consumer demand (~), and Greece is definitely smaller than France.
To put it simply, you see in everything (games, movies, websites), a selection box for language, which usually has options like: English | French | German | Spanish | Italian. These are the most common options.
So like everywhere, also in Keyboards, Greek is not a definitive option.
And I think its kind of stupid to change the layout of the standard English, because, since French has the same alphabet, I dont see a reason behind it. Maybe they just want to differentiate themselves from others, French are like that sometimes
Keep in mind that questions are asked because a person can not know what they are not present to experience. I could ask what color your house is. It might sound like a pretty stupid, even pointless, question, but I have no way of knowing without you answering.
Point taken.
