Yes, the US Cal .30 Semi-Auto Rifle or the M1 Garand. I currently have 4 of them and plan to get two more and maybe, just maybe, buy one to donate to the Railsplitters, a WWII reenactment group through the Missouri Military Academy.

Ok, something is wrong apparently A few hours earlier today, I had 68 karma, and now I have 73.

I am not complaining, but can someone confirm this?

Edit: Nevermind, I figured what happened. Remember that you you cant usually see the karma that you received from different forums? Well, apparently they fixed that, because I can see that Ryat has 108 karma, and Scoutdog 95.

Now we can see everyone's full amount of karma properly, without having to log into Stardock main forums.

About gun ownership in Greece, yes it is legal, but only by obtaining a Hunter's licence. In other words you have to be registered as a hunter in papers, so you can legally own a gun.

Also, ANY fully automatic weapon is illegal in Greece (regarding civilians of course).

Of course we did! We are awesome! Or better say, we used to be awesome....

Keep in mind that Greece was still recovering from WWII back in the 60s, and we didnt exactly have the "best" economy, if you know what I mean.

Btw do you know that the military (Greece of course) still uses the old G3-A3 and G3-A4 automatic rifles?

We also use the HK11 for heavy support fire.

banned for some of us don't fire often enough or have time otherwise to bother reloading. Not that it's hard if I chose to. I do give my brass to others that reload for free. Reuse!

Okay, back to Morph. I'm not that worried about the karma fix. It makes more sense this way.

I actually let people fire my weapon from time to time because I feel the M1 is a great piece of Americana and think that anyone who wants to appreciate the country a little more should have the experience.

Fully automatic weapons are legal here ONLY IF you get a class 3 license. Too much trouble for me right now. I do wonder though if the Greek rule about hunting licenses puts a limit on magazine loads. For example, you can not hunt in the US with a weapon carrying more than 5 rounds at a time, so we have modified en blocs for that purpose.

Many countries (Britain, Italy, etc.) held on to the M1 for sake of savings. Not a bad choice either. Italy even made a magazine fed M1.

Did not know that about the Greek military, but if it works (which is up to the men) then why change it? I personally do not support the use of M4s in the US military. The M16 and on, I feel, has not been a good move in the US military. It is, of course, not because of the weaponry alone.

Banned for getting caught up in the small stuff. With a moderately-powerful HAM radio kit and some background research, I could probably bring down a couple hundred Predator drones.
