Pep rallies are an American school thing where they herd all the students into the gymnasium and sit them down to watch the school marching band and cheerleaders (the cheerleaders in my school do not wear any pants  )do their routines, and lead them in all sorts of cheers and general hooliganism in an attempt to get them hyped up about the school and whatever athletic event they are about to go to. They have always struck me as vaguely fascist.

They wear panties, just no pants. And I of course never thought them particularly attractive. I can't even stand to be in the same room with them- too stupid and giggly. It's really quite sickening.
