Banned for long posts. Compensating for something?
Yes. My absence, obviously
Yes and no. While on a certain level I think anyone who dresses like that has to be nuts (not to mention their giggling sounds like the manic laughter of a guy with a gun in a public place), the sort of behavior I'm talking about is really more social/societal than purely psychological- an illness of society as opposed to an illness of the mind. My basic point (in clearer, but somewhat stronger terms) is that these girls have had their initiative and aggression beaten down so thoroughly by American society's rather restrictive gender system that they repress those behaviors and wind up stupid, shallow, naive, and childlike. Now, the important thing is that I used this phenomenon more as an example- I was not trying to say that all cheerleaders are products of this system, but that they usually act like they are, and I find that behavior quite repulsive.
Blah blah blah, a whole bunch of bullshit. Just say what you want to say SD, and spare us the crazy talk

1. Ok, what the hell does a laughing maniac with a gun threatening people have to do with giggling girls? Please, explain that one.
2. If cheerleaders' costumes seem crazy to you, then what about Halloween costumes? Do these people who dress up in Halloween should be immediately transferred to a psychiatric hospital then??
.....

Society has a lot worse things than a slight gender oppression, if there is one.
Our society is so corrupt, that these petty things, that make girls wanna seem cute, sexy, innocent, or whatever else, are non-significant.

1. Like Altaux said, these girls like cheerleading, and nobody forced them to do this at school. The reasons why some girls cheerlead at school, vary (some do it for the guys, wanting to look sexy), but they have their own reasons, which usually are personal desires, not having much to do with society.
2. Like Draak said, your claims are more of assumptions, than actual facts. Also, I see a lot of personal dislike for cheerleaders here, than society crap.
3. You obviously hate the Japanese schoolgirl effect on this subject. Since you might not be familiar with it, I'm gonna explain just to be sure:
Japanese schoolgirls, usually have an innocent look in their eyes, blinking in a cute kinda way, giggling A LOT when talking to each other, and generally...being Japanese. I cant explain it very well, but there are tons of youtube vids, featuring various Jap girls, staring at a camera for several minutes, not doing or saying anything. I'm sure at least some of you know what I'm talking about.
4. RE: Stupid: They seem stupid to you? Hmmm....I am gonna ask, HOW??
Did they take an IQ test and scored very low? Do they study really hard at school, but still failing to understand a single thing in every subject? Are they retarded? How exactly are they stupid?
5. RE: Shallow: There's not much to say here. Alt said it. Looking directly over a barel, you can never tell exactly how deep it is. Nuf said
6. RE: Naive: A very wierd claim, since Naivety has many many forms. Explain better, and backup your claims.
7. RE: Childlike: This, has to be (again) the Japanese schoolgirl effect. Looking all innocent and cute, giggling a lot, basically being like a baby. Duh, thats why guys call them babes
Most people find it, cute and/or sexy.
Again, backup all your claims, because all I see right now, is personal opinion.
