What I find funny about the whole tea party thing is how so many rivals paint them as racist yet if you look at the crowds that are video taped, about quarter to a half are Black or Hispanic

And yet the same has been done with the Republican party for decades, but more Republicans than Democrats voted for the Civil Rights Act of 1968 and again when it was up for renewal.

True and yet not a single word about the racist Democratic South during the late 1860's (from 1865 on) on up to about the late 1950's I believe. I believe also some of the biggest racists in Congress were Democrats as well. And yet the Republicans (Formed from the Wigs party and Abolitionist or anti-slavists and one other party) are painted as the racist. Odd, very odd. Well politics always is more about perceptions and not facts.
